	At Grand Paws, that means your pet will get petting and playtime at no charge. Dogs are let outside in one of the two exercise areas which are grass, not gravel, so they won't end up with sore paws after playing. They can explore and sniff, chase a toy or lay down in the shade and enjoy the outdoors 2 - 3 times a day. If the weather is bad, they can explore inside the building or spend time with Holly in the office. Petting, brushing and massages are all part of making your dog comfortable during their stay and it's all included for free! At Grand Paws Country Kennel, the No. 1 priority is to keep your pet happy and healthy. If your pet doesn't eat well when he or she is away from home, then Grand Paws will make the extra effort to find a solution. Some dogs eat if they have our healthy, all natural secret ingredient sprinkled on their food, some dogs will only eat in the office, some eat if their kennel door is open and some if they've had a treat to stimulate their appetite. With their owner's permission, all dogs get treats twice a day along with their petting/ playtime. The dogs are encourged to nap for two hours in the afternoon. When the inside lighting is dimmed, everyone settles down for a comfortable nap in their climate controlled kennels. Clean bedding is also provided at no charge. If your pet is a cat, then TLC means petting and playtime indoors. Cats are invited to explore the office area and sit on Holly's lap while they get petting and kitty conversation.
